Today I received my revision letter from my editor, a standard letter in the publishing business that every author gets. Luckily, the changes I need to make aren’t devastating to my fragile ego. Once I make them, and she accepts them, then the book goes off to the copyeditor for all the tedious grammar and punctuation editing. It’s starting to feel like a real book now.
Off to tackle my revisions!
The first Arcadia Bell book will be titled KINDLING THE MOON.
How do you kindle the moon? In my protagonist’s world, people who have magical talent must “kindle” magical energy with energy drawn from external things: electricity, water, blood.
As to how the moon fits in with kindling, I guess you’ll have to read it next July to find that out…
